MARCH UPDATE
First series race is this coming weekend....entire
interior with all the gauges, seat, belts, radios, steering,
mirror, etc all are FINALLY done. Sometimes wish I wasn't so picky
but I am & when it's all done like last night, it's well worth
it to see the finished product. Plan to bend up & hang the
sides, hood and tailpiece today & maybe even get to mounting
the nose, roof & windows. Monday we will get on the little
mechanical things to do (change oil, set timing, new belts, hoses,
etc). By Wednesday, I plan to scale & go through the entire set
up. Thursday, we will take the car for its new design created by KC
& Wild Warthog Design, & then pick it up by Friday & be
set to head to Auburndale Speedway Saturday for Race #1 of the FUP
Sportsman Series.
Have to thank Pops as he has been right with me through
finding & setting up the shop, getting the car & all the
long nights he and I have spent at the shop the last 2 weeks as
well as Bobby Kendall for the all the help getting things done
& finding us a couple new Sponsors. Also need to thank Holly,
KC, Brandon, Brianna & Rick McMullen for all the help they
have been as well. It's been a very long week, with one more to go
but I fully intend to make it all worth the while this coming
weekend when the DV8 Bowling, Allstar Performance, Big Nasty
Bodies, Victory Motorsports #10 Outlaw Camaro makes it Florida
debut!
I have to thank all of our additional sponsors: Speedy
Shocks (aka. Alan Vochaska), Scott Brunners Pro Shop, Wild Warthog
Designs & Graphics, Ameri-Gas. In addition, I need to thanks
all my guys back home who continue to help any way they can as
Skeet has been set to come down if needed & Brett has handled
getting parts sent down from Lanes. Finally, want to thank all of
my Family, Friends, Fans and supporters in Michigan as well & I
promise to represent & make you all very proud. I plan to get
with Kevin to finalize the website & it will be updated weekly
with results, schedule, photos & everything else. For those who
have been waiting for the new shirts, we will be getting them
ordered as soon as the new design is on the car & we get it to
the company doing the shirts. They will be very sharp with the car
on the back with some sort of design like the dirt outlaw &
sprint car shirts are made. We also intend to have one, if not 2,
in-car cameras & KC will post the videos after each event for
everyone to be able to watch, keep up with & follow our
progress throughout the entire season. We have 2 things on
our mind & we are all on the same page as its real
simple….WIN & have a lot of fun while doing it with the
ultimate goal being bringing home our 6th Championship
& first, of what we hope is many to come, in Florida!
